This has been fixed in the dev version. Now the behaviour is much better:

    1. If product-category set, then it’ll use /product-category/ (or whatever permalink you have)
    2. If no category set, it’ll use the permalinkbase set inside FWW settings
    3. If no cat set and permalinks not in use, the URL will be /shop?filter_color=xyz etc

This doesn’t work at all – 404 errors, messed permalinks, duplicate slashes, duplicate woo category and fww base – just try to choose more than one attribute.

    It was better before update.

I want to set the same Woo product category base and FWW permalink base. Why? It’s compatible with native woo functions like shortcodes, sitemaps etc.. It worked before update!

Could you please make it happen again?

Ok – trying to figure out a solution for this. In meantime, if you need old zip file, let me know and I’ll send you one.

To be more specific, duplicated base (Woo Category Base//FWW Permalink base) appears when you use combination of category + attribute widget. Otherwise works perfectly …

    Make FWW great again! 🙂

One thing to try: Visit your Settings -> Permalinks and hit SAVE. This will force-refresh your permalinks. May be related. I cannot reproduce this bug.

Hi – I’m testing this locally. Here are my settings:

    2 widgets – category & colour widget

    Permalinkbase: product-category

Everything seems to be working. Can you message me directly with your URL and ideally access so I can figure this one out?

Have you tried with this option enabled? http://prntscr.com/nj2kfu

I confirm that this option enabled causes duplicate bases.
