Creating a WooCommerce Rating Filter

If you wish to create a rating filter for your WooCommerce products, you can do so with our Custom Postmeta Range filter.

  1. Create a Super Speedy Postmeta Range filter
  2. Use meta_key _wc_average_rating (include the _ at the beginning)
  3. Use Text Links display option
  4. Add 5 ranges starting with 4 to 5, then 3 to 4, etc
  5. Where the text would go, paste the HTML from your website for 5 stars, then 4 stars, then 3 stars etc.
  6. Alternatively, choose an image for each rating filter which matches your sites style

If you struggle with steps 5 and 6, you can copy/paste these star symbols and paste these in as text

  • ★★★★★
  • ★★★★
  • ★★★
  • ★★

You can put whatever HTML you wish inside the boxes instead of the stars, and if you’re stuck with HTML you can always use an image.
