Dev diary and the WP Intense Trello development board is dead and some of the feature requests are two years old. When can we expect to see signs of improvement?
You are correct – I started answering you in full here, and then I copied and pasted and edited my answer into an actual development diary.
I did promise to make development diaries more of a regular thing and I’ve failed at that, so I can only apologise.
The main issues I had were the wide variety of ways people could contact me in private plus the private performance analysis jobs. I helped a lot of companies with performance analysis work and none of that work is public which I hate. So, all perf analysis jobs are now public and all support is now public.
I still haven’t quite figured out what video content I’m going to create, but it will probably be along the same vein – i.e. something to help make the work I perform public. That might be as simple as streaming a development session once per week, although that might be a little bit boring…
I may instead record the development session then edit it afterwards with a voiceover to be a little more interesting. Your thoughts on that would be appreciated.
In the meantime, here’s the fresh dev diary inspired by your question:
Regarding FWW – We should focus on three long-awaited features:
https://www.wpintense.com/suggestions/allow-filtering-products-by-any-custom-taxonomy-terms-e-g-brand-or-product-tag-new-fww-fast-custom-taxonomy-widget/ – Implementing this would resolve the issues with ‘brand’ plugins
I can help with testing.
