Hi Dave

I have installed Scalability Pro on my website and I cannot believe I now have a fully-functional ecommerce site which prior to that was largely unuseable!

Unfortunately my technical skills are very limited though. I have succeeded in replacing the woocommerce widgets and carried out some of the recommendations in the plugin. I have a performance warning though and would really appreciate your help with this:


You have 1099 options set to autoload. This is too many and will be slowing down your site significantly. Contact us through our Q & A section for assistance in fixing this and we'll deploy a fix specific to your situation.

There are also a few other settings that I feel I should adjust but have no clue as to what I'm doing - do you have video tutorials which could help?

Also, I’ve set the product sort at “natural” because I don’t actually want the sort feature for my products anyway (and will ultimately remove it from displaying). However, I am still able to change the sort order of the products and I thought this would be disabled.

Hi Juliet – I’m in the process of releasing a fresh upgrade to Scalability Pro with an easier to use back-end admin screen.

Once that is live and out there, I will be creating a bunch of videos showing the various settings to optimise your site and get blazingly fast speeds no matter how many products/posts you have in your site.

If you are subscribed to our blog/newsletter, you will receive the article once the Scalability Pro upgrade comes out and the videos will follow probably the same day, if not the day after.

I’m making a full guide to explain the autoload options too, so stay tuned.

Hi – sorry about the continued delay in this new release of Scalability pro – it IS coming, just the way of things they always take longer than expected. In the meantime, you can check out these 2 answers which cover large numbers of entries in wp_options –

Have checked them out. Excellent posts, and it’s really great to see the depths you go to in order to help your customers. Unfortunately I didn’t understand any of it! I’m looking forward to the update. 🙂

Hello Dave and Team. I have noticed that when I am in my admin products list, if I search my products using SKU code it no longer finds the product. If I deactivate Scalability Pro it works again. Searching my products by SKU in the admin is pretty important for me – is there a fix for this please, perhaps in the update? Thanks!
