Does your External Images support the above? ie when I import all image urls will not be copied into my wordpress hosting ?

It works with ALL custom post types for featured images and thumbnails. Where it can get tricky is with custom galleries for custom post types – frequently these custom galleries are implemented with non-default WordPress code.
