Widget Styling

Jonny S. asked 8 years ago

Hey

Just bought the plugin and switched to your widgets but the styling doesn't fit with my theme and i'm not a fan of the product count in brackets beside the category/brand etc. The order also doesn't follow the theme options. I'm not CSS savvy at all i'm afraid but i'm wondering is there an easy way to sort these issues?

Many Thanks

I have had a few other requests to add CSS styling options, so if you can provide an example or two of what you would like it to look like I can include that in an upcoming release as an option.

re: Order doesn’t follow the theme options – I’m not sure what you mean here?

re: Product count – Do you want the product count removed entirely or do you want it styled in a different way?

Hey Dave, thanks for the response.

Re: the styling – Here’s an image of the default theme styling on another site i have –

And here is how it looks on your plugin on the same theme –

re: Menu Order – In the category setup in Woocommerce, I manually set the order i want the categories displayed in. When I activate your theme the order it displays the categories in doesn’t seem to follow any particular order? Ideally I would like it to follow the order I have set.

re: Product Count – I would prefer a count is not displayed at all.

It looks like two things are happening. 1) You’re using a different theme on this new site and 2) You haven’t got heirarchical categories set up on it. The WPI perf plugin does nest the sub-categories in the same way as the Woo layered Nav and it also sets a CSS class for active parent categories (so you can set them bold etc)
