Would it be possible to replace all the slashes (/) after ‘filter/’ slug with hyphens (-) in FWW? It’s better for seo.
adidas official websites do it this way: https://www.adidas.co.uk/men-black-shoes
We will have:
/filter/adidas-men-black/
instead of:
/filter/adidas/men/black/

I added this feature request, but I think now it would be to much and can cause many problems, so better forget about it.
It’s really nice how it works currently (we can easily add the category links to the menu, sitemap, create lists of categories etc. with native woo functions and it’s compatible with FWW).
Yes I agree – it’s a little too dangerous. The primary problem is that a hyphen is also used for spaces inside a category/attribute. So, if you had the following categories:
boys
boys-toys
toys
It would be impossible to distinguish. If you feel you really need this, come back to me again in future and I’ll take another look.

Could you please add this as an experimental feature? What would be the price (as sponsored feature)?
