HOW TO DOWNLOAD AN UPDATE FOR THE PLUGIN
The plugin needs to be activated, then in the Plugins list click “Check for Updates”, then scroll to the WPI Performance Plugin and click ‘Update’.
You can also do this from the Dashboard->Updates section (plugin needs to be activated though).
Alternatively, you can download the latest version from your account orders page and upload using FTP. Make sure to visit the settings page if using this technique or deactivate/activate the plugin to get the new indexes.
I SEE NO IMPROVEMENT IN SPEED AND LOADING TIMES AFTER INSTALLING THE PLUGIN
There have been several customers which have reported no improvement in speed and load times after installing the plugin, those are all singular cases which have a different cause. The most frequent causes are as follows:
- Wrong configuration/installation of the plugin. Please follow the provided instructions on the Scalability Pro Plugin products page found HERE.
- Number of products. If you have fewer than 1000 products, you will not see much speed improvement. If this is the case for you, hosting is a better option to improve the speed of your site.
“YOU HAVE X OPTIONS SET TO AUTOLOAD. THIS IS TOO MANY AND WILL BE SLOWING DOWN YOUR SITE SIGNIFICANTLY” ERROR
