Since adding the multiple image gallery support, images are not displaying in the admin area for External Images.
This should be a fairly straightforward fix to call the gallery to get the image HTML to display here.

This was fixed a couple of versions ago.
There is a related bug that needs a new bug report about images not appearing in bulk edit.
